The double interlocking Klinker Optima Mixed Roof Tile offers the advantages of our Mixed Roof Tile 11 and also includes improvements like a new channel with curved shape, which improves the evacuation of water by creating a visual effectof a roof cover with the beauty of a traditional barrel tile and the reinforced inner structure of an advanced design, providing extreme strength to it.

The Klinker Óptima Mixed Roof Tile is manufactured in two finishes:

Base finish, pressed with rubber molds.
Plus finish, pressed with plaster molds. More defined shapes and edges that allow an even more perfect fit between roof tiles and that also increase longitudinal and transversal clearance.

Characteristics

Klinker characteristics:

Very high hardness and durability, thanks to a compressive strength of more than 480 kg.
Very high resistance to frost, when successfully passing tests of more than 500 cycles and obtaining water absorption data below 5.5%.
Perfect flatness, thanks to firing in kilns equipped with individual H-Cassette refractory supports.

General characteristics:

Fine texture: Uniform appearance due to the selection of clays and the exhaustive control in the grinding.
High resistance: Excellent quality raw material. Latest technology in pressing and firing. Reinforcement ribs at the bottom.
Double fitting: It improves the waterproofing of the roof by preventing the entry of water under it.
Low water absorption: Combination of selected clays and firing in the latest generation kilns. Excellent resistance to frost and humidity.
No buckling, thanks to firing in kilns equipped with individual H-Cassette refractory supports.
Defined shapes: Defined edges thanks to the latest technology in pressing. Perfect fitting between roof tiles. It allows to increase the longitudinal and transverse clearance in the assembly.
Pre-drilled hole and sawteeth: Ready for dry installation.
